About Bud Mahas

Bud Mahas Construction, Inc. has been providing general contracting services through-out the Western United States since December 27, 1982. The founder of our company, T.G. "Bud" Mahas has been a general contractor for more than 40 years. He was previously an owner of MGM Construction and Skyline Construction dating back to 1957. Today, BMC is owned and managed by Bud’s 2 sons, Steve and Dave. Under their leadership, the company has grown to have annual billings in excess of $80 million and have done over 3/4 of $1 billion of construction through out the Intermountain West. Bud is still actively engaged in managing projects and general consulting with Steve and Dave.

Bud Mahas Construction, Inc. has experience in a wide array of projects, including projects for education, commercial, religious, government, medical, and retail. We have successfully completed projects with difficult time and site constraints including short time schedules and critical environmental issues.

We attribute much of our success not only to sound management principles and knowledge of the construction industry, but to the loyalty of our core employees and superintendents. Most of these employees have been with the company for a decade or more. Our subcontractors know that we run our projects well and therefore they give us their best prices. Because of this, we are able to pass these savings on to the owners in the form of lower contract prices.
